• New publishing engine - instantaneous browse and edit, even for complex pages.
• Asynchronous Publishing - content is published via a queue.
• New template system - templates can be updated and published without the need to republish pages.
• Draft Portal - View and browse the draft site as any user / user-type through the fully integrated draft portal.
• Unpublish Page - Remove all traces of a page from the website whilst retaining the content in the CMS.
• Section Naming - the name given to content sections can be defined in the CMS templates.
• Section Highlighting - Highlights the section in the page explorer that is currently being edited.
• Internal Link Management - Internal links are now automatically managed on published pages.
• Check In / Check Out of Files - Check In/Out has been extended to files in the file library.
• Automatic Metadata Suggestion - Activedition now includes a facility to automatically suggest keywords or match a classification based on the content of the web page or file.

Availability

Activedition v4.2 is available now and all existing clients with a current Support & Software Assurance agreement are entitled to the new software without additional licence costs. We offer a range of installation and implementation services on request and can provide a fixed price quotation on request.
