My role of Project Lead Engineer at C2, is to implement web-based solutions for our clients using a number of technologies which are predominantly Microsoft in flavour.
I have worked with a range of clients recently, including:
- Age Concern Scotland
- Careers Scotland
- FDA Union
- General Teaching Council for Scotland
- McGrigors
- Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
My skill-set is predominantly in the .NET platform, though I am fascinated by the power of SQL Server and am a recent convert to Regular Expressions! I’ve been creating solutions using ASP.NET since version one of the .NET Framework was released and recently I finally got round to getting Microsoft Certified; having become a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in .NET 2.0, I am now working toward the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer qualification. I also enjoy using my experience on user-centered-design and web accessibility.
I joined C2 in March 2008 from Perth and Kinross Council where I worked on corporate internet and intranet solutions using C# and VB.NET.
