• FDA website highly commended at the 2009 TUC Communications Awards

  Built on the Activedition platform, the FDA website (www.fda.org.uk) was highly commended at this year’s TUC Communications Awards, held on 1 July at Congress House in central London. According to the judges, the FDA website was only “narrowly pipped” to the winning place by PCS.  The awards were open to all 57 communications departments of TUC-affiliated trade unions.  The judges described the FDA website as “very clear and easy to use”. They added: “The site scores highly on accessibility too. The design is fresh, with effective use of photos and illustrations. • National Counties Building Society launches on the Activedition platform
